Africafresh was founded by a team of agricultural export specialists with deep roots in Egypt's Nile Delta farming communities. Having witnessed firsthand the extraordinary quality of Egyptian produce going unrecognized on the global stage, our founders set out to build something different.

We created a direct bridge between Egypt's verified farms and international buyers — eliminating the layers of intermediaries that drove up costs and compromised freshness. Today, our network spans 500+ certified farms across Egypt's most productive agricultural regions.

Africafresh established with a mission to connect Egyptian farms directly with European buyers, starting with citrus exports to Germany and the UK.
2013
GlobalG.A.P. Certification
Achieved GlobalG.A.P. certification across our entire farm network — a milestone that opened doors to premium European supermarket chains.
2016
GCC Market Entry
Launched operations in the Gulf Cooperation Council markets, adding Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar to our export destinations.
2019
500 Farm Network
Crossed 500 verified partner farms across Egypt's major production regions, enabling year-round supply across 31 product varieties.
